Venice's downtown was built in the 1920s, the city still keeps a Mediterranean Revival look along its historic streets, and the beach is only a short walk away. I'm Kristen Palmieri, and I come to your home, hotel or venue so your morning can feel calm and unhurried.
A morning that starts close to home
Wherever you'll be getting ready, I'll come to you. Please share both your getting ready address and your ceremony location, because Venice has miles of Gulf beaches and a little planning keeps the morning running smoothly.
Planning around the drive
Venice sits south of Sarasota, and US 41 is one of the main routes into town. Traffic along the coast is heavier during the busy winter and spring season, and the drawbridges over the Intracoastal Waterway open for boats, so I plan my travel with that in mind. Every package includes travel to Venice and your date reservation, so the longer drive south never changes your price.
Looks for sunset light and sea air
Venice is a lovely place to watch the sun go down over the Gulf. If you're planning a sunset ceremony, I set your hair so it holds from the first photo through the last dance, and I prepare your skin so your makeup still looks fresh when the light turns golden. If you're marrying near the beach, we can also talk about styles that stay comfortable in the breeze.
More than twenty years of bridal mornings
I have more than twenty years of bridal experience. I built Chic Artiste in North New Jersey, and I'm now on Florida's Gulf Coast. I lead every booking, and for larger parties I work with trusted partner artists. I'm also happy to book just the bride, with no minimum.
Every rate is per person, per service. For you, hair is $125 and makeup is $125, and for your bridal party, hair and makeup are each $100 per person. Lashes come included with makeup.

Is there an extra charge to travel as far south as Venice?
No. Travel to Venice and your date reservation are included in every package. I come to homes, hotels and venues in town, and I’ll confirm the details with you once I have your address.
What should I keep in mind for a sunset beach ceremony in Venice?
It helps to plan your getting ready time backward from sunset, leaving room for photos while the light is still soft. I'll finish with time to spare, and I'll choose a hairstyle that stays comfortable and secure in the evening breeze off the Gulf.
Can my mother and grandmother get ready with us?
Of course. Party hair and party makeup are each $100 per person, and for larger groups I lead the morning with trusted partner artists so no one feels rushed.
