Longboat Key is a long barrier island with the Gulf on one side and Sarasota Bay on the other. I'm Kristen Palmieri, and I come to your home, hotel or venue on the key, so your morning can stay calm and private.
One key, two counties
Longboat Key is split between Sarasota County and Manatee County, and one main road runs along its length. That makes the location of your getting ready room especially important. When you reach out, please tell me where on the key you'll be and where the ceremony will be held, and I'll plan the morning around that drive.
A drawbridge at each end
The key is reached by a drawbridge at each end, over New Pass from the Sarasota side and over Longboat Pass from Bradenton Beach. Either one can open for boats while cars wait, and the busy season adds more traffic on the road. I always arrive with time to spare, and I'd suggest giving your photographer the same cushion.

If you're dreaming of a refined, timeless look, it needs to hold up to the coast. Humidity runs high in the warm months, so I plan for it from the start. I build your hair on a smooth, secure foundation with enough hold to stay polished, and I prepare your skin so your makeup looks fresh in bright sun and just as lovely by candlelight.
Experience and rates
I have more than twenty years of bridal experience. I built Chic Artiste in North New Jersey, and I'm now on Florida's Gulf Coast. I lead every booking, and for larger parties I work with trusted partner artists, though I'm just as happy to book just the bride, with no minimum.
Rates are per person, per service. Bride hair is $125 and bride makeup is $125, and party hair and party makeup are each $100. Lashes are included with makeup, and every package includes travel to all of Longboat Key and your date reservation.

It matters for timing, but not for price. Every package includes travel to the whole key and your date reservation, and knowing your address simply helps me choose the best bridge and plan my arrival.
How much extra time should we plan for the drawbridges?
No one can predict exactly when a drawbridge will open, so I plan as though it will. Building a cushion into the morning keeps everything relaxed, even in the busy season.
Can you get my whole family ready where we're staying?
Yes. I come to homes, hotels and venues on the key. For larger groups, I lead the morning and work with trusted partner artists, so everyone is ready before photos begin.
