Anna Maria Island is a seven mile barrier island just west of Bradenton. I'm Kristen Palmieri, and I come to your rental, hotel or venue on the island, so you can get ready with your family close by and the Gulf just outside.
Three small cities on one island
The island is home to three cities. Anna Maria sits at the north end, Holmes Beach is in the middle, and Bradenton Beach is at the south end. Telling me which of the three you're in helps me plan the morning.
Getting onto the island
From Bradenton, you reach the island over one of two drawbridges, one on Manatee Avenue and the Cortez Bridge to the south of it, and from Longboat Key you can cross over Longboat Pass. Those bridges open for boats on a set schedule during the day, so I plan my arrival with time to spare. If your ceremony is on a different part of the island from your rental, we'll build that drive into the timeline too.
Relaxed hair that still holds
If you're picturing softer, more natural styling, such as loose waves or a relaxed half up style, I'll build it to last. Those looks are lovely, but salt air, humidity and the breeze off the Gulf can loosen them quickly if they aren't built well. I set every style on a secure base so it keeps its shape while still looking effortless, and I keep your makeup fresh and luminous for bright beach light.
Experience and rates
I bring more than twenty years of bridal experience to every wedding morning. I built Chic Artiste in North New Jersey, and I'm now on Florida's Gulf Coast. For larger parties, I lead every booking and work with trusted partner artists, and I also happily book just the bride, with no minimum.
Rates are per person, per service. Bride hair is $125 and bride makeup is $125, while party hair and party makeup are each $100. Lashes are included with makeup, and every package includes travel to Anna Maria Island and your date reservation.
